World Breastfeeding Week: Breastfeeding and the MDGs

In 1990, the United Nations set eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), meant to be achieved by 2015, to fight poverty and promote healthy and sustainable development.  We have a looong way to go, as a world, if we are going to meet these goals.  And we should meet them.  We should help each other survive and thrive. 

 Breastfeeding can help in major ways.
