This morning as we were gathering ourselves to get out of the car at the Lone Star Baby's school, she said: After you leave my school, but before you go to your school, go and vote for Barack Obama.
Sweet! I wonder if LSB is one day going to be like Anne Lamott's baby--when you ask, "What do you want?" instead of "Peace" she's going to respond with,"Lunch."

Could be, but for the whole not liking to eat thing...
Actually, I usually have to go about damping down the natural partisanship of my children. Once I explain why I support a certain candidate/party, they are all about dis-ing the other one. Separating the person from the policy is tough for many adults and it's very hard for kids. (No, John McCain does not hate you. He does not hate kids. He just thinks that families should have to take care of their own kids without much help...)
