I can't believe that I left Once Upon A Marigold by Jean Ferris off of the list! It is just wonderful. Also, I collect books that have the words "marigold" or "mimosa" in their titles, if you know any.
What have you got so far? Lucia is my "Sunflower Girl," by the way, so I collect sunflowers as well (with some discrimination-- I don't pick up every card with sunflowers on it.) I have found one book with her Real Name, plus an island. I'll keep my eyes open for Marigolds and Mimosas. I like this game!
I'll think about sunflowers. I have that one and "Magic for Marigold" and something called just "Marigold" that is kind of evangelical. No mimosas so far, although I vaguely remember 2 adult books that had the word in the title before I was giving it much thought...don't really remember what they were, though.
There's The Mimosa Tree, by Vera and Bill Cleaver. I've never read it. Here's the description:
"Shortly after the Proffitts arrive in the Chicago slums from North Carolina, the stepmother leaves the family and fourteen-year-old Marvella becomes the sole support for her blind father and the four younger children."

Sounds good. I'll look for it.
