There are some beautiful clouds flying across the moon and some planet (Jupiter? Saturn?) tonight.
Yesterday, I took the Lone Star Baby to see Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs (the LSG already saw it with friends last weekend - presumably). It was nothing like the book but we still enjoyed the movie a lot. It was only the second movie she has seen in theaters and it was a little intense and scary for her towards the end (she's sensitive), but she says she still really enjoyed it. It was a fun outing.

eons late on this (and so I don't know if you'll even see this)...
Siu Loong & I saw it when it played as a PTA fundraiser at her school. She got annoyed at one part when the inventor said something to the effect of "Only I can stop this now!"
She thought that instead of him trying to single-handedly stop the insane weather, people should have recognized that they needed to band together to stop the crazy machine.
Good to know that, despite her annoyance at getting dragged to meetings and Books Through Bars packing sessions, she's still absorbing some of the principles of collective action.
