Congratulations! I am glad that it is a big deal in your household. Lucia recently got hers, and even though they didn't have NYPL's library pledge, I still had her say a variation of it. LSB is sweeter than a box of cookies.
What's the pledge?
"When I write my name in this book I promise to take good care of the books I use at home and in the library, and to obey the rules of the library.”
